Updating...

Yeah, so, I haven't updated in a while, and I'm sorry for anyone who reads this.

But this blog is going to be strictly for my stories only. You can find some of my good stories on www.deviantart.com, look for Guardian795.

Anywho, sorry, but, I'm just too busy for this thing.
Love you all,

Cosplay Originals - Writing

<--- Seth and the Daeva/Nephilim from my story. NOT MY ART!

Well, I have exactly one week to prepare for the anime cosplay next Saturday. I have everything together but a white tank top and a new camera case. I'm rather excited that we may doing a group cosplay of MY OWN characters.

The jist of my characters is that all of them are drawn to a manor for some odd reason, and are given the option to die, or be free from the world by becoming the strongest thing in the world. Duh, they'd take being strong over going back to a world that is terrible.

It's rather hilarious, because some of my friends are suddenly people they are NOTHING like.

Diana - Jocie
Rachel - Courtney
Alexis - Me
Cassy - Crystal (if she goes)
Seth - Todd or Tommy
Luis - Tony or Tommy
Michael - Karl
Erik - Nick (if he goes)

I'm excited for it, and I'm glad to act out my novel, though it's not even written yet. XD
Yeah, I love me too.
I'm also in the middle of writing a mermaid fiction >.>
Then a fantasy fic with 3 characters only.
Maybe a few sci-fi ones, with android women and scientist hotties!
A Tomb Raider fanfic and a Xenosaga fanfic.

So much to do, so much to think of!!

Of Days and Names

Around 5:45 when I was getting ready for school, I put on one of my necklaces, and the moment I did, I knew today would be a terrible day. I even pieced together what the morning would look like in my usual getogether place. Guess what? I was right.

Things went quickly downhill from there, and the day only grew worse until 3rd period, when things finally calmed down. Honestly, I'm seriously thinking of just leaving my group of buddies. I'm so sick and tired of everything. I help them, but no one really seems to care any longer. It's usually all about what I've done wrong and why I fail at things.

Despite the sadness I feel, I've maintained a pretty positive attitude today. But, tomorrow will be worse, and that's predictable.

On the happier note, my friend Karl and I may do a cosplay together as my original characters, which will be interesting and fun to do.

Something struck me last night. I was talking to a guy I had never met, and this was the first time talking to him, and I connected with him quicker and better than I connect with any of my friends except 2 of them.

We talked for a while, getting to know each other. We discussed friends, problems, relationships, looks, personalities, outlooks, etc. I have never connected with someone like this before. Partway into the conversation, I asked what his nickname was. He told me, and asked mine. I told him that mine were either Guardian or Angel.

He asked if he could call me "Aya". I asked why, and he said it means Divine Angel. I have NEVER met someone so kind so quickly. It was quite amazing. So, now, I call myself Aya, which may even be a name I use in a story I was thinking about.

*Sigh* Well, back to normal life, I suppose...

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

I had not gotten a chance to see the latest Final Fantasy movie, but had heard amazing things from both friends and strangers alike. I decided to sit down and finally watch it. I did not give myself expectations, and had only seen a small trailer of Cloud with his long sword, Vincent talking in Japanese, and Tifa kicking ass.

After almost exactly 1 hour and 30 minutes, the movie was over, and I was speechless. Usually, movies based on games, or continuation of games or anything of the sort go straight to hell, but this was a HUGE exception. The graphics were, as always, superb. The voice acting was good, not great, but better than usual.

The storyline was awesome, and the battle sequences were the greatest I have EVER seen. There were some very humorous parts, in my opinion. For example, there's a part where the FF7 music that's played after winning battles is heard after Tifa beats up a bad guy. She looks around, surprised. The bad guy gets up and takes out his cell phone. It was his ringtone! I nearly died laughing, but the story was so compelling, that I quickly shut up to hear the rest.

In my opinion: you need to see this movie. For those not into Final Fantasy games, too bad. You won't understand the story, you won't get anything, and you're missing out on a great movie. If you haven't played FF7, you should get the basic storyline first before watching. FF fans will feel right at home, even if they haven't played the game, but non-FF fans will be lost.

10/10, guys. Great job Square Enix.

Cosplay Time!

Well, there's going to be a CB East Ani-con and it's time to dress up! Unfortunately, I don't have many choices to choose from. My original idea was go as Lucy/Nyuu from Elfen Lied, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to get the diclonius ears, so, scratch that (but if anyone knows where I can get them, let me know!!).

My second idea was to do Rei Kurosawa from Fatal Frame 3. Her outfit, however, has been done by 2 people on the planet! Ugh! But then, I realized what I could do. I saw a picture of her taking pictures in the beginning. She's wearing black capris, white heels, and a tan cargo shirt. I can do that!

Then I got another idea. I could go and cosplay as my own characters from my stories. I've chosen to do either Dementia or my unnamed story as of yet. Either way the main female character has brown hair, like me, and wears normal clothing. Not a problem.

If I do Dementia, I will definitely have to be Angela. No problem. I also have my camera, and she's a freelancer.

But, the thing is, I also have friends who are going to cosplay. I'm given them suggestions, but we have a rule:
DO NOT COSPLAY AS SOMEONE FROM SOMETHING YOU HAVE NOT SEEN!!

This includes seeing 5 minutes of something and liking a character (which is why I'm not doing Bleach).

I've told one friend to go as Jill Valentine from RE, but I may suggest to doing something else. I also had a Fatal Frame 4 idea that would cross the third one in. It would allow my one guy friend and my one girl friend to cosplay with me.

But it's May 20th! I gotta work fast!

Girls and Boys, Twisted

> - Diana from Rule of Rose

Well, yes, wonderful night. Hilarious night. Tina and I sang from Wicked, Amber and I joked about jailbait (don't ask), and Chris and I laughed. Happy days are here at last.

Aside from that, and from many Rhapsody (C) thoughts, Rule of Rose is officially coming to the US.

The game, unfortunately, is severely mature. There are girls, girls, and more girls.

Supposedly, the game is based on the Parker-Hulme murders. Two girls liked to play together, and their parents were good friends. One day, the parents saw the girls playing "pretend", but were pretending things quite bizarre and grotesque for the time period. The girls were not allowed to plat together any longer. The two girls killed the one girl's mother, and that's how the case started. They were accused of being lesbians and that insanity was involved. Woot!

Anywho, Rule of Rose is about a 19-year old named Jennifer. She gets on a bus, meets a boy who gives her a fairy tale book, and then follows him when he runs off. From what I remember, she's whisked away to a manor where the young girls of 11-13 are the rulers. The girls have an aristocracy called the "Red Crayon Aristocracy". The top two girls, Meg and Diana, are based on the Hulme and Parker girls. They are very intimate with each other (and one is intimate with everyone else too!) and all of the girls are pretty insane.

Think of it as a Haunting Ground/Silent Hill/Fatal Frame mix. There's a dog named Brown who helps you (HG), you use weapons to beat the living crap out of the crazy monsters (SH), and there are a bunch of freakish monsters and young girls who are terrified/insane (FF). AWESOME!

This game is something that may actually scare me for once, or really inspire me. I cannot wait!

Happy Days!

> - Image by Lasarro, a character I will be using in a story.

It's Saturday and yesterday was hectic. I had a test and an analysis due in first period, had to print some photos second period and a mid-term AND an audition in third.

Good news: I think I did well on the tests and analysis.

Better news: I got the part I wanted. I'm a girl named Katherine in "Among Friends and Clutter"

I'll be acting that part out on June 2nd after school. Be there!

I was over at Tina's house on Friday to work on headshots for her brother. Despite not being accustomed to the digital camera, I took some decent photos and he looked good.

There were a couple that were outstanding, but they all are good. I'm going over to finish them today. But, the funny thing is, it finally clicked in me that I LOVE to photograph things. Photography is my love, as is imaging and graphics. It finally registered to me that I am going to do this for the rest of my life, and I can't wait.

My friends and I have been constantly planning for our big house after college. We've been discussing types of houses and who will be living there and what all will happen. Laura and I have kicked around the idea of living together and working together with photoshop and photography. Tonyah has told me about all of the animals we're going to have. Allison has talked about having a big garden (she'll be working with it, not me). All that's definite is that we want to do it, and we will try our hardest to do it.

Courtney has kicked around the idea of all of us being in Wildwood for a weekend or a week or something. If all of us go, then we'll get a VERY good idea of what it's like to be around each other 24/7. Honestly, I can't live with some of my friends 24/7, and I will make sure that I DO NOT live with them. They're fine as friends, but not as someone to be with all of the time.

I have told Allison that it might be better to get a couple of twins in a row in a development. She, Laura, me and our husbands (if we get them) and children (if we have them) will live in one twin. Darla and Kyle in the next. Tonyah, Courtney, Todd in the next. Amber and Jim sharing with Crystal and Nick in the next.

But, those are just ideas and thoughts.

UPDATE: Rule of Rose is OFFICIALLY coming to the US!! And Atlus is releasing it! YESS!!!!!!

New Stuff

While the world is deteriorating around us, our president decides that he doesn't like the new "Star Spangled Banner" in Spanish. Also, on Monday, a large number of legal (and illegal) immigrants took off of work. Is our president happy?

Who cares?

Well, for gamers, E3 2006 just came around, and fans are raving like mad. The new Nintendo system has been revealed, Xbox360 is going down the drain rapidly, and the PS3 is paving the streets.

HOWEVER....

Xenosaga III: Also Sprach Zarathustra (an amazing book) had its own little place in E3. Looks like the final end to the series (originally to be 6 episodes, now 3) will be released in the fall.

*SPOILERS!!!*

Synopsis:

"As the story goes, a mysterious relic was discovered 4,000 years ago that pretty much destroyed the world. The human race doesn't let that get to them, though, and instead they develop advanced techniques for fighting the very mysterious and very dangerous species of creatures known as the Gnosis. An advanced weapon known as KOS-MOS is developed to once again return peace to the universe, but the weapon falls into the wrong hands, which causes all kinds of trouble for everybody. Episode three picks up one year after the end of episode two, and revolves around the character of Shion from the previous game. Shion has left Vector Industries because she suspects that the company is corrupt and evil. She joins up with a group known as the Scientia, and begins investigating the cause of the Gnosis epidemic.

There's a new weapon this time around, known as T-elos. T-elos looks very much the same as KOS-MOS, but is apparently even more powerful. In one cutscene we saw, T-elos effortlessly destroyed dozens of Gnosis to display her enhanced abilities. But we're told that, as in the previous games, suspicions, corruption, and dark motives abound, and it's your job to sort it all out."

For those of you who LOVE the cutscenes (like I do) there will be over 8 hours worth of cutscenes planned. I believe that's either as much or more than the first episode.

For boys loving girls, there are collectible swimsuits and traps that can be set to destroy field enemies. (Trapt by Tecmo, anyone?)

The game will be released some time in the fall. Let's hope it's better than the second one. Check back with me for more!

*END OF SPOILERS*

Other games, that I'm looking forward to, include the kid's game "Snoopy v.s. the Red Baron" (YAY!). I LOVE SNOOPY!

Well, moving on, reviewers are giving Silent Hill (the movie) a C, and Stick It a B.

News is that SH is hardly scary, and is, in fact, dumb, if you've played the games. The worst is in the games. The only thing that I hear is scary, even scary to fans, is when Pyramid Head comes in, full-fledged character, and starts to kill people. SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!

Stick It, however, is called "boring" and "an average sports movie. Nothing particular".

Well, that's all. Check back with me later for more info.

Welcome!

Hey, welcome to my blog. I should be updating this just about every day, so try to check back often, okay? You guys can leave me comments or e-mail me (whichever you prefer), and we'll chat. Okay?

Talk to you all soon!
